MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr Teferi Mengesha, M.D.
Our Medical Director is Teferi Mengesha. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified in Nephrology. Dr. Mengesha graduated from Ohio State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. He later graduated from the University of Cincinnati, OH, with a Doctor of Medicine. He did his internship and residency at the Washington Hospital, in Washington, D.C. He then did his fellowship in Nephrology at Washington Hospital in Washington, D.C. He began practicing nephrology in Columbus in 2004. Although most of his hospital practice currently is at Doctor's West Hospital, Dr. Mengesha also has staff privileges at Mt. Carmel West, Mt Carmel East, St Ann's and Riverside Hospitals.

Dean Agra, M.D.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from St. Louis University with a Bachelors in Biology, Dr. Agra went on to complete his medical degree at Wright State University. He served as Chief Resident for Mt. Carmel West Hospital in Internal Medicine. After practicing Internal Medicine privately, Dr. Agra did his fellowship in Nephrology at The Ohio State University. Dr. Agra is board certified in Internal Medicine and certified in Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Agra provides care for Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension, Polycystic Kidney Disease, and all other diseases of the kidneys. He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, the American College of Physicians, and Amigos de las Americas. His office number is 614-223-0043.

Henry Wehrum, D.O
Dr. Wehrum completed his Nephrology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.  He is board certified in Nephrology and in Internal Medicine.  His office number is 614-291-0022.

Hinsta Tewoldemedhin , M.D.
Dr. Tewoldemedhin completed his Nephrology fellowship at the University of Kansas, In Kansas City, Kansas. He is board certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. His office number is 740-788-8441. 

John MacLaurin, D.O.
Dr. MacLaurin completed his Nephrology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.  He is board certified in  Nephrology and board certified in Internal Medicine.  His office number is 614-294-8400.
